In my early 20s after I graduated college, I went to work for a well-known architect and large commercial contractor. During those years I learned a tremendous amount about construction, design and all phases of project management.
While interning with a designer in Southwest Colorado I really found my passion for putting all I had learned into action. I was invited by two local ski resorts (Telluride and Purgatory Ski Resorts) to go out on my own with the promise of endless future projects and clients, as they recognized my skills and passion.
I made the leap to open my own firm at the age of 27. 2 decades later I am still the preferred designer and contractor for our local ski resort. I take great pride in the fact that my entire career has been referral driven.
Over the years, I also teamed up with a handful of general contractors to help develop, design and even project manage the custom finishes of a few well-known local golf and ski communities/subdivisions.
My primary business has always been second homes for out-of-state clients. I am honored by the trust that my clients put in me, to create their luxury dream vacation homes in their absence. On occasion, those same clients invite me to design their homes out of state, which I take great joy in doing.
I love bringing my client’s (and inevitable friends) visions to life. I have been supremely rewarded by following my passion. I have surrounded myself with artists, craftsmen, tradesmen and resources that allow me to create/construct anything we can dream up.
